The address of the venue is Monarchs Quay, Liverpool, L3 4FP and the website can be found here. Apparently the venue holds 10,000 people and has parking for 1,600 cars. There are also 22 VIP boxes with 12 seats in each at the venue and the stage is 60 feet wide by 40 feet deep and is 6 feet high.

The concert tonight starts at 8.00pm and tickets (from this link) are £28.50 ($56) to £48.50 ($96) plus charges. Currently seats are available in the sixth row of the front side block. The venue also offers a VIP package for £172 ($340) which includes a champagne reception and buffet plus an aftershow party until midnight. A Meet and Greet with Meat Loaf (but not Kasim) is also available before the concert for an additional £150 (about $300).

This gig will be during the Meat Loaf tour and will be only his second ever solo gig in Europe. Kasim will be playing at the famous 12 Bar Club which has a great reputation for its music scene.

The venue is located in Denmark Street which is right in the center of London. The street is a short narrow road which is notable for its connections with British popular music and is known as the British Tin Pan Alley. Artists including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Donovan and Jimmy Hendrix have all recorded in that very street and Elton John wrote Your Song there too!

(I went to take some photos of the outside of the venue a couple of weeks ago but there was a big JCB digger right outside (it's a very narrow road) so hopefully that will have been removed by next week!)

There are various ways to get from Cork to Liverool but the simplest way would be to hire a plane to fly direct from one city to another. Of course the trucks with all the stage gear will not have this option as they will have to drive through Ireland and cross the Irish Sea. Consequently these calculations are based on that route which will take about 9 hours and is about 333 miles.

The video was taken in Cork, Ireland and, amongst other things, shows the problems they were having with luggage being overweight for their flight.

Kasim and the band play concerts three to five of the tour this week and all of them are in England.

Today or tomorrow they will have to travel across the Irish Sea to Liverpool for the concert on Wednesday. There's no gig on Thursday but on Friday they play Bath before another day off (other than possibly traveling) on Saturday. On Sunday they play the final concert of the week which is in Hampshire.
