Sunday 12th November 2006
47 days until The Kasim Sulton Band's Holiday Show in New York City.
Tonight Kasim Sulton plays a Meat Loaf concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.
Kasim Sulton in Mannheim, Germany with Meat Loaf Kasim in Mannheim, Germany
18.00 - Considerably later than it should have been posted(!), the set list, a review and photos of the promo gig which Kasim Sulton played with Meat Loaf in Mannheim, Germany on 14th October have been added to the Meat Loaf Bases Are Loaded 2006 Tour section of KasimInfo.com or click here for the direct link.

Bat Out Of Hell III cover Meat Loaf (and Kasim!) in the Official UK Charts
14.15 - Meat Loaf's single (with Marion Raven) It's All Coming Back To Me Now (on which Kasim Sulton plays bass and sings background vocals) has dropped from #16 to #27 in the Official UK Single Charts which were announced today.

Meanwhile the album Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose (on which Kasim Sulton appears on every track) has dropped from #4 to #12 in the Official UK Album Charts. This is its third week in the charts.

Are You Happy Now?
12.00 - On Kasim's MySpace page most of his new song Are You Happy Now is available to download. The lyrics of this song were not written by Kasim himself but he sang it at several of his recent solo gigs.

Mnay thanks to Jennifer Salyer for noticing this. (Please note that Kasim does not administrate that page himself.)

Kasim mention in The New Cars interview about tonight's concert
09.00 - Kasim Sulton receives a couple of mentions on TheJournalNews.com for a concert tonight that he's not even playing!

The link above shows the whole interview with Todd Rundgren but the Kasim mentions are:

"Now The New Cars - a "supergroup" of sorts composed of former Utopia frontman Todd Rundgren, original Cars members Greg Hawkes and Elliot Easton, former Journey/Jefferson Starship drummer Prairie Prince and Meat Loaf bassist Kasim Sulton - will bring their newly revamped roster to The Paramount Center for the Arts on Sunday."

"Bassist Atom Ellis, who will fill in for Sulton while the latter is on tour with Meat Loaf."

One comment by Todd which might upset some Cars' fans (but is a compliment to Kasim and Prairie) is "we also have a rhythm section that is better than the original simply because these are professional musicians""!

Kasim Sulton, Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes, Todd Rundgren and Prairie Prince are The New Cars

Kasim Sulton Kasim at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT
07.00 - Tonight Kasim Sulton plays the fifth of six promo concerts to promote Meat Loaf's album Bat Out Of Hell 3: The Monster Is Loose which was released on Halloween. The concert tonight is at The Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT - that's pronounced Unc-as-ville (and not Un-Kas-ville!). This mini promo tour is being called The Bases Loaded Tour (the proper tour next year will be called The Seize The Night Tour). Click here to view the venue website - it's about 130 miles north of New York City and is just off the I-95.

Kasim has played at this casino loads of times in the past decade. In 13th November 1999 he played on the Meat Loaf StoryTellers Tour here but in a smaller room than the arena (I'm not sure the arena was even built back then) and in June 2000 he played on the Todd Rundgren Power Trio Tour here in The WolfTrap which is an open area that is free to get in. September 2003 saw Kasim again at The Mohegan Sun! This time it was on the Meat Loaf Couldn't Have Said It Better Tour and (I think) that this was the first time that Kasim played in the Arena. Kasim was back at The WolfTrap Den in May 2004 for Todd Rundgren's Liars Tour. Kasim's final visit before tonight was on 15th August 2005 on the Meat Loaf Hair Of The Dog Tour (in the Arena) so it seems that Kasim plays here almost every year!

Kasim Sulton at Mohegan Sun Arena in 2005 - photo by Vicki Peason There were several complaints on various Meat Loaf messageboards and mailing lists yesterday that lots of the audience sat through most of the performance in Atlantic City on Friday night. While some people enjoy a concert more by sitting and listening, the other thing to remember is that that concert and tonights are both being held in casinos so lots of people (especially near the front) are those notorious high-rollers who get free tickets to all concerts from the casino and often aren't all that bothered about who is playing! (That sometimes works to fans' advantage as if they get bored, they'll leave early and their seats near the front become vacant!) Even if they do enjoy the show, they'll often prefer to sit and maybe just stand at the end. Also, casinos are known for paying performers large sums of money to play there (to get people in so that hopefully they'll stay and bet too) so this is probably a way that Meat Loaf is subsidizing the London, New York and Toronoto concerts. Some casinos even have a strict time limt (to get people back on the gaming floor!) so bands have to cut their set short but thankfully this doesn't seem to apply to this venue.

The Mohegan Sun Arena is a massive 10,000 seater venue and last night the best seats available were right in one of the top back blocks so it appears that it's selling really well. It's also the cheapest of this promo tour with tickets only costing $39.50 (plus charges).

This venue have a policy of seaching everybody entering the venue and has a long list of prohibited items which includes streamers and beach balls! It says that disposable cameras are permitted and that it is a non-smoking venue. The concert is listed as starting at 7.00pm (maybe because it's a Sunday??) and fans reported hearing in Atlantic City on Friday that at least some of the band were travelling to this venue yesterday and staying there.

48 days until The Kasim Sulton Band's Holiday Show in New York City.
Kasim Sulton - photo by Jennifer Salyer Kasim at the Trump Taj Mahal, Atlantic City - photos
17.15 - Some photos of Kasim Sulton last night at The Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ have been posted to The Bases Are Loaded Tour page or click here for the direct link.

Many thanks to Jennifer Salyer for all the photos on that page.

The New Cars Road Rage Tour
07.15 - Last night The New Cars played the first of their winter leg of concerts on The Road Rage Tour. The concert last night was at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA and Atom Ellis played bass instead of Kasim Sulton.

Apparently Todd Rundgren sang lead on the two songs which Kasim normally sings Drive and All Mixed Up), plus they included More and Warm for the first time in the set list.

Please see TheNewCars.com and TRConnection.com for set lists and reviews of these concerts as only The New Cars' concerts which feature Kasim will be mentioned on this site in future. Kasim's first gig on this leg of the tour will be on Friday (17th) in Mashantucket, CT.

Kasim at the Trump Taj Mahal, Atlantic City
07.30 - Last night Kasim Sulton played another gig on the Meat Loaf mini tour called The Bases Are Loaded Tour. The concert was at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ.

I've been told (but not confirmed) that the set list last night was:
All Revved Up (part)
Paradise By The Dashboard Light
You Took The Words Right Outta My Mouth
Out Of The Frying Pan (And Into The Fire)
Anything For Love
Objects In The Rearview Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are

The Monster Is Loose
Bad For Good
If It Ain't Broke - Break It!
Blind As A Bat
Bat Out Of Hell

Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad
Life Is A Lemon

Friday 10th November 2006
49 days (7 weeks!) until The Kasim Sulton Band's Holiday Show in New York City.
Tonight Kasim Sulton plays a Meat Loaf concert at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ.
Photos of Kasim at the Palace Theater
19.00 - Jo Milos has 306 great photos of the Meat Loaf concert which Kasim Sulton played last Thursday at The Palace Theater in New York City. Click here to see the whole set (there are no photos of Kasim on page 6) but the best ones of Kasim are:

Kasim's football top is black whereas Paul Crook and Dave Luther's are blue.

A nice shot of Kasim wearing his football top (with his shirt visible beneath).

Kasim Sulton and Paul Crook.

It looks like Paul Crook is going to kiss Kasim in this photo!

Spare a thought for the poor wardrobe girl who has to iron that shirt!

You can even see Kasim's tongue in this photo!

A smiling Kasim with Meat Loaf.

Kasim at his microphone stand.

Kasim with Paul Crook and Randy Flowers.

The best shot of Kasim!

Kasim mention in The New York Post
02.30 - Kasim Sulton received a mention in yesterday's edition of The Starr Report in The New York Post about him attending a taping of The People's Court. Click here to read it, plus it's pasted in below:

Kasim Sulton

Many thanks to the kind person who gave me the heads-up regarding this.

The New Cars Road Rage Tour
01.15 - Tonight The New Cars Road Rage Tour restarts again! The concert tonight is at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA.

Kasim Sulton will not be playing this gig (Atom Ellis will be playing bass) and there are standing tickets still available. It appears that the front part of the seating is sold out but seats are available in the rear of the venue.

Kasim's first gig on this leg of the tour is next Friday (17th) at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, CT.

Kasim Sulton Kasim Sulton at The Trump Taj Mahal, Atlantic City, NJ
01.00 - Tonight Kasim Sulton plays the fourth of six promo concerts to promote Meat Loaf's album Bat Out Of Hell 3: The Monster Is Loose which was released on Halloween. The concert tonight is at The Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ. This mini promo tour is being called The Bases Loaded Tour (the proper tour next year will be called The Seize The Night Tour).

The last time that Kasim played at The Trump Taj Mahal was on 8th July 2000 (on The Todd Rundgren Power Trio Tour) but that was at the smaller Xanadu Theatre. Tonight Kasim plays at the 5,000 seater Mark G. Etess Arena. Tickets for this concert are $95, $75 and $65 (plus charges) and this morning two seats together were available in row 10 of the center block. Doors are at 7.00pm and show time is 8.00pm. Click here for the casino website. The casino is located at 1000 Boardwalk at Virginia Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ 08401

Kasim Sulton I've been unable to find out too much online about the venue itself but the casino is an amazing place (as you expect by Donald Trump having his name associated with it!). It was opened on 2nd April 1990 and is described as "unprecedented in craftsmanship and opulence, the awe-inspiring architectural masterpiece is filled with the finest carpets, chandeliers and works of art in the tradition of the world's most grand and enchanting palaces". It's known as a billion dollar property and includes the following statistics:

  • It is one of the largest casinos in the world.

  • There are $14 million worth of German crystal chandeliers, including 245,000 piece chandeliers in the casino alone, each valued at a cost of $250,000, and taking over 20 hours to hang.

  • There are 4 and a half times more steel in the casino than in the Eiffel Tower.

  • If laid end to end, the building support pilings would stretch the 62 miles from Atlantic City to Philadelphia!

  • It cost $4 million in uniforms and costumes to outfit the over 6,000 employees.

  • There are 1,250 guest rooms (including 237 suites) in the hotel tower.

  • From the 51st floor, at 429 feet above sea level, you are standing atop one of the tallest man-made structures in New Jersey. (I hope Kasim doesn't suffer from vertigo!)

  • There are seven 2 ton elephants of carved stone in the entrance hall.

  • There are nine restaurants on-site which can accommodate 3,000 diners at any given time. One of the restaurants is called Sultan's Feast!

The website also states "Absolutely no LOITERING is permitted on the premises. This includes standing and/or sitting in public areas for periods of time. The Security Department will actively enforce this policy. Any and all person(s) who are loitering will be asked to keep moving or leave the building." Considering how much Kasim moves on stage, this won't be a problem for him but don't be surprised if you see the drummer John Miceli or the keyboardist Mark Alexander having problems with security during the concert!

    Kasim at The Bitter End
14.45 - The Kasim Sulton Band's Holiday Show at The Bitter End in New York City on 29th December is already mentioned on the venue website! This is a rare honor as the schedule is usually only listed for the current month and this is 50 days in advance.

Click here to purchase tickets in advance.

    Kasim Sulton Solo Tour

    Randy Moss Kasim's Football Top
11.00 - The great Bases Are Loaded Tour mystery has been solved (I think!).

Several fans have been asking about the football top which Kasim Sulton wears at the beginning of the current Meat Loaf concerts. It is a mainly black top (other members of the band wear blue ones) and clearly has the number 18 on the front but it's been very difficult to make out the name of the player that is written on the back!

When Kasim played at The Royal Albert Hall in London, England in October I manged to make out that it was a short 4 or 5 letter word that ended in "SS" but the strap from his bass obscured the other letters. He rarely turned around at the concert in New York City last Thursday so nobody could make out the name and at the concert in Toronto on Saturday he wore a Maple Leaf shirt.

It was posted that Meat Loaf wore a Terrell Owens shirt from the Dallas Cowboys but according to their website, they do not list a player with the number 18. The only other football teams I knew were the New York Yankees (their #18 is Johnny Damon so that didn't fit) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (whose #18 is Walter Young which also didn't fit) so I did the only thing I could possibly do which was to ask Jennifer Salyer's dad!! He came up with the suggestion of Randy Moss of The Oakland Raiders which seems to fit perfectly!

Apparently Randy Moss is called a "wide receiver" and is known as "one of the most explosive offensive players in NFL history" (which apparently is a compliment!). As Randy stands 6 foot 4 and weighs 210 pounds and The Oakland Raiders come from California, I can't quite see the connection between him and Kasim!

    Message from Kasim
09.15 - Kasim himself has sent a message to his mailing list about his upcoming solo gigs.

To join Kasim's mailing list click here or to read his latest message click here.

    Kasim Sulton Doug Kennedy
06.15 - On Doug Kennedy's official website DouglasRKennedy.com he says that he'll be joining Kasim Sulton on stage for all the 6 announced (so far!) gigs on The Kasim Sulton Winter 2006 / 2007 Tour!

Doug was originally a member of the Philadelphia based band The Isle Of Q and has been playing gigs with Kasim since 15th August 2001. Apparently Doug was a big fan of Utopia and wrote to Kasim about playing on stage with him. At his first gig with Kasim he only played 4 songs but now he plays virtually the whole set with him whenever he can. The gig at The Bitter End next month will be Doug's 34th gig with Kasim! Doug also plays guitar on the track We The People on Quid Pro Quo.

There's a nice batch of photos of Doug with Kasim on his website here - click on each of the photos to read a blurb about where it was taken.

    Wednesday 8th November 2006
51 days until The Kasim Sulton Band's Holiday Show in New York City.
    Kasim's gig in Pittsburgh, PA
17.30 - Tickets for Kasim Sulton's gig at Club Cafe Live in Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday 23rd January 2007 went on sale at TicketMaster.com 30 minutes ago. Tickets are $18 (plus charges) and it appears that unlike some of the events at that venue, tickets can be purchased using a non-US credit card and address.

Tickets are also available on the night of the show for $20.

Bat Out Of Hell III cover Bat Out Of Hell III
15.30 - According to two reports posted online today, Meat Loaf's latest album Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose (on which Kasim Sulton plays bass and / or sings background vocals on every track) is doing well in the charts in North America this week (its début week).

Billboard.com says that the album is a new entry at # 8 in US:
"Another veteran rock act, Meat Loaf, earns chart ink this week with "Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose," which debuts at No. 8. The Virgin set sold 81,000, providing Loaf his best charting week since 1993's smash hit "Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell" reached No. 1. His last studio set, 2003's "Couldn't Have Said It Better," topped out at No. 85 and spent just four weeks on the chart."

Meanwhile Canoe-Jam says that the album is a new entry at #3 in the Canadian Charts:
"Canadians had an big appetite for Meat Loaf on the Canadian album charts this week.
The 59-year-old singer's "Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose" had the biggest debut of the week, checking in at No. 3 with just under 10,000 in sales.
    "

No single has been released from the album in North America.

Kasim Sulton Winter 2006 / 2007 Tour Map
14.45 - Although more dates are still being added, here is the current Kasim Sulton Winter 2006 / 2007 Tour Map:

    Kasim Sulton Solo Tour Map

So far New York to Schenectady to Pittsburgh to Cleveland to Chicago to Valparaiso is *only* 1,172 miles (18 hours)! The good news is that Valparaiso straight back to New York is just 770 miles (12.5 hours).

The starting time for The Kasim Sulton 2007 Chicago to New York Car Rally on Monday 29th January will be announced later!!!

Kasim Sulton with Meat Loaf Kasim mentioned in CNW Press Release
11.15 - There's a quote from Kasim Sulton in a press release by CNW about their Protege / Notion software.

The relevant quote says "Notion software is currently being used on Meat Loaf's concert tour, allowing the 16-piece orchestra backing him to sound like a 60-piece orchestra.

"The sounds are great and the way the program works is so user-friendly, and so band-friendly, that we couldn't ask for more. It's fantastic software," said Kasim Sulton, music director and bass player for Meat Loaf."

Tickets for Kasim Sulton's gig at Club Cafe Live, Pittsburgh
07.15 - Just a reminder that tickets for Kasim Sulton's gig at Club Cafe Live in Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday 23rd January 2007 go on sale at TicketMaster.com today at 5.00pm. Tickets are $18.

There is limited seating in the venue but if you do miss the 5.00pm start of the sale, there is plenty of standing room in the venue too so there is no reason to miss the gig itself, plus tickets will be on sale at the door for $20.

Unfortunately it appears that TicketMaster for this venue will only allow purchases from fans in US and Canada and not the rest of the world.

    Kasim Sulton Solo Tour

    Tuesday 7th November 2006
52 days until The Kasim Sulton Band's Holiday Show in New York City.
Kasim Sulton in Mannheim - 10/14/06 Kasim to play at The Royal Variety Performance ????
18.45 - According to the official website Meat Loaf is listed as playing at this years Royal Variety Performance in London, England. Although it's not been confirmed it appears likely that Kasim Sulton will be there too! It is on Monday 4th December in the presence of Prince Charles and The Duchess Of Cornwall (Camillia).

The Royal Variety Performance is an annual event which first happened in 1912 and it is considered a big honor to appear. Acts only play one or two songs at the event which is later televised. Other acts at this years performance are Barry Manilow, Rod Stewart, Take That and Sugababes.

The event takes place at The London Coliseum and is aid of artists' charities. Tickets for this event sold out a long time ago! Click here for the official website.

Kasim Sulton in Mannheim - 10/14/06 Kasim at The American Music Awards???
11.00 - Mark Alexander (who plays piano and keyboards for Meat Loaf) lists an appearance at The American Music Awards on his official website MarkAlexanderMusic.com. It was previously announced that Meat Loaf would be there but nothing has been announced about whether all the band (including Kasim) will be there or not.

The American Music Awards takes place at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium on Tuesday 21st November at and Jimmy Kimmel will be the host. ABC Television are broadcasting the event.

Tickets are still available via TicketMaster for this event and cost $225.

Many thanks to Jennifer Salyer for noticing this.

10.00 - Kasim Sulton has his own listing on Pollstar.com again! Click here to view it.

Kasim Sulton Solo Tour Another Kasim Sulton solo gig
05.30 - Another gig (or really two!) has been added to the Kasim Sulton Winter 2006 / 2007 Tour! It's on Saturday 20th January and will be at The Van Dyck in Schenectady, NY. Kasim will be playing two shows that evening - one at 7.00pm and the second at 9.00pm. The price is $25 for one show or $39 for both and tickets will be on sale soon.

    Monday 6th November 2006
53 days until The Kasim Sulton Band's Holiday Show in New York City.
    KasimSulton.com
18.00 - It's been a couple of days now since the background on KasimSulton.com was changed to a photo of the recent New York concert but it appears that the white background of the Latest Word part of the website on the front page is still showing different appearances depending on which broswer you use.

Looking at the site using Internet Explorer shows it as:

    Kasim Sulton Solo Tour

But using another browser like FireFox it looks like:

    Kasim Sulton Solo Tour

The link to join Kasim's mailing list has been added (at the top right of the front page) but fans on AOL are still reporting not always receiving messages.

Tickets for Kasim Sulton's gig at Club Cafe Live, Pittsburgh
12.15 - Although his show is not listed on the venue website yet, tickets for Kasim Sulton's gig at Club Cafe Live in Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday 23rd January 2007 go on sale at TicketMaster.com here on Wednesday 8th November at 5.00pm. Tickets are $18.

    Kasim Sulton Solo Tour

I believe that this is the first time that advanced notice has been given for tickets for a Kasim solo show! The reason is that there is limited seating in the venue. However if you do miss the 5.00pm start of the sale, there is plenty of standing room in the venue too so there is no reason to miss the gig itself, plus tickets will be on sale at the door for $20.

This gig is listed as a Joker Production and Kasim now has an entry on that website too. Part of it is copied below (the bio link is not working yet).

    Kasim Sulton Solo Tour

Kasim Sulton with Meat Loaf Tickets for the additional Meat Loaf UK Shows
11.30 - As reported previously here, last Friday tickets for 4 additional Meat Loaf concerts in UK went on sale via Meat Loaf's official website MeatLoaf.net. This website has had a number of problems with ticket sales in the past. Most times fans have been unable to get seats together and at the final round of ticket sales no seat allocations were given - this was due to other ticket websites starting their pre-sales before the official website and they are is still trying to sort that out by getting more tickets from the promoter.

On this occasion FanFire (who run the website / ticketing) really excelled themselves as they had seats in all the front rows of the middle block at each venue! (There was still a slight problem as fans could only put one ticket at a time into their basket but at least that prevented say 4 or 5 fans taking all the front row.)

This morning tickets went on sale at the venues and on TicketMaster and TicketLine. Each place I tried only had seats 20 or so rows back or in the back blocks so it appears that at least the center block will be full of fan club members.

It hasn't been announced yet how tickets for Meat Loaf's US concerts will be sold but as there are no Meat and Greet Packages so far on this tour, it appears to be the way that FanFire make their money (although tickets weren't too much over face value) so will probably be the same. Fan club membership is $40 a year.

01.00 - The Beachland Ballroom have listed a number of their forthcoming gigs on CantonRep.com including Kasim Sulton's gig there on Friday 26th January.

    Kasim in the UK Charts
15.45 - The Meat Loaf single It's All Coming Back To Me Now (on which Kasim Sulton sings background vocals and plays bass) has dropped from #9 to #16 on the Official UK Singles Charts today.

Meanwhile the album Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose (which features Kasim on every track) only dropped one place from #3 (where it entered last week) to #4 on the Official UK Album Charts.

    Kasim Sulton's Winter 2006 / 2007 Tour Map
10.45 - Not all the dates have been announced yet but here is a tour map of the 5 known dates on Kasim Sulton's Winter 2006 / 2007 Tour:

    Kasim Sulton

Road Trip anybody?!! (Not so much a Road Rage Tour as an Ice Age Tour in January!)

Alternatively to fly roundtrip JFK to Pittsburgh to Cleveland to Chicago to JFK is *only* $914!

Please note that more dates will be added to this tour!

Kasim at The Elgin Theatre in Toronto last night
Kasim Sulton in Mannheim - 10/14/06 08.00 - So far two reviews by professional critics have been posted online on Toronto Star and Toronto Sun. (Neither mention Kasim by name and it seems that they wore Maple Leaf jerseys instead of football jerseys.)

    Kasim's online Journal
04.00 - Kasim Sulton has updated his online journal about the recent concerts in New York City and Toronto. He includes the phrase "Now, I'd be less than honest if I said anything other than these were the best shows we've played in years."

There's also a photo of him with Judge Marilyn Milian from The Peoples Court here.

Kasim at The Palace Theater, New York City
11.45 - Although it doesn't mention Kasim Sulton by name, The New York Post has a review of the Meat Loaf concert on Thursday at The Palace Theater, New York City. It's quite a good review other than the comments about "his duet partner".

There's also a photo of Kasim at the venue on KasimSulton.com.

Kasim Sulton at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto, Canada
Kasim Sulton 07.30 - Tonight Kasim Sulton plays another Meat Loaf promo concert to help promote Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose. The concert tonight on The Bases Loaded Tour is at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

Although this is another old theater thankfully it does not have a ghostly history so all 1,500 people that the theater holds will be of the human variety! The theater is described as "a sumptuous affair with royal boxes and exquisite gilded plaster details" and is part of the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre and has historical significance as it is the last "double-decker" or stacked Edwardian theatre facility in the world! (The part where Kasim will be playing is downstairs and the Winter Garden part is upstairs.) This theater was built in 1913 and in 1982 was designated a national historic site. Thankfully it's undergone so refurbishment so is a state-of-the-art venue. The venue is located at 189 Yonge Street.

As far as I'm aware, this will be Kasim's first performance at this venue although he's played in Toronto on several occasions. The concert tonight starts at 8.30pm (doors are 8.00pm). Although the publicity blurb was that this concert sold out within 4 minutes(!), this morning two seats together were available in the 14th row of the Orchestra area. Tickets vary in price from CA $55.50 to CA $149.50 ($49 to $132) plus charges.
