On 12th March 2003 Ron Bozich of ClassicRockRevisited.com reviewed Kasim Sulton's latest album Quid Pro Quo. Unfortunately that review has now been removed from the site so this is the review (reproduced unedited):
It's all Kasim Sulton (Utopia) on Quid Pro Quo. A production of ten shoot from the hip pop songs. This version of Kasim and this his second solo effort is all easy listening. It's a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a tall glass of milk type stuff. Nothing here to make you want to turn the volume knob up and step on the gas. It's all sugar and spice and everything nice and for those who crave a nice mellow ride well... here it is! Kasim keeps this whole CD at a gentle pace and not one song really has a hook worthy of a head-bob or toe-tap. This really is very mellow pop music and somewhere out there is an audience for it.
