Every so often they seem to have one concert which is slightly under par from the others and sadly tonight was one of those nights!

There were several Meat Loaf fans in my part of the crowd tonight and he put on a good show but I felt that some little spark was missing somehow. During John Miles’ set there was word that Meat Loaf was in the crowd watching the concert (the story was that someone told someone that they had seen him) but he certainly never walked past us to get to the backstage and we were by the barrier (as that’s the quieter side).

Home By Now / No Matter What was good tonight but Meat Loaf remained seated on his stool far longer than he normally does. (Kasim’s vocals sounded really good tonight in that song!)

Kasim seemed to spend a lot of the set away from his microphone tonight! Although he didn’t miss any lines, he wandered off as soon as he could (which was a shame for me as I’d positioned myself in direct line with it!).

During Paradise By The Dashboard Light, I’d moved to the side of the stage and there were some girls there almost doing line dancing in time with the music!

During Yellow Submarine, Kasim didn’t join everyone at the front of the stage tonight but instead opted to stand near the organ I understand.

Roll on tomorow night…..!
