Kasim Sulton News
Saturday 17th September
Tonight Kasim Sulton played another concert on the Meat Loaf Hair Of The Dog Tour. The concert tonight was at the Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Pooler, Georgia (just outside Savannah). This concert was a benefit concert in aid of the victims of Hurricane Katrina (originally the tour was to have played at the Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi, MS but the venue was destroyed by the hurricane). On stage tonight at the concert Meat Loaf announced that $100,000 was raised for the victims. One of the prototypes of Kasim's signature bass was raffled for the fund too.
To the delight of the audience, Kasim played a six song opening set before Meat Loaf took the stage! Kasim's set was:
Somebody Loves You
Sometimes Love Is A Dangerous Thing
There Goes My Inspiration
Before She Was Gone
The One Sure Thing
Sacrifice
