Kasim Sulton News

Friday 13th February

Less than a week after his solo show and less than 2 weeks since the last Meat Loaf gig in the UK, Kasim Sulton landed in Australia for rehersals before the Australian and New Zealand leg of the Meat Loaf Couldn't Have Said It Better World Tour.

Two of the concerts (plus some rehearsals) are to be recorded for a DVD later this year so Kasim was very involved in the rehersals of the Australian Boy's Choir, as well as in meetings about the song arrangements last year.

Kasim described it in his online journal on KasimSulton.com as:
"What a day. Left my home at 3:30 pm, got on a flight to LA at 6 pm, had a two hour lay over then boarded a plane for Melbourne, Australia. 14 hours and a day later I'm in this lovely city. Second time in one year that I’m in Australia. That doesn't happen too often.
Normally on after a trip like this, I’d just zone out for 24 to 48 hours but after arriving here I was informed that the Australian Boys Choir didn't receive copies of the two songs they will be performing with us here in Melbourne. Nice. I had to postpone Zombieland for a few hours and drive out to Surrey Hills to teach 20 eleven and twelve year old boys the background parts to Testify and Rock And Roll Dreams. This I was not prepared for. They were great though and put up with my vain attempts at humor. It just seems easier to try and be funny when you're this tired.
"
