Lulu - Back On Track

Kasim Sulton Discography

This album was released on Mercury Records in the UK on 15th March 2004. The album was in the Official UK Album Charts for the one week commencing Monday 22nd March when it was placed at #68.

Kasim Sulton plays bass on the one track, I Love You Goodbye. Kasim described getting this work as "My good friend - and extremely successful songwriter / producer - Phil Thornalley (he played with the Cure AND engineered McCartney's Venus And Mars album just to name a few) asked me to stop by his place and put down some Bass tracks for him. I did one song that He and Bryan Adams were in the process of writing and another track that will appear on a new CD by Lulu (remember 'To Sir With Love'?). The latter song is called 'I Love You, Goodbye'. Phil is a brilliant songwriter and I'm always honored to work with him. That, and a darn nice guy to boot makes being around him something I wish I could do more often. "

The Scotsman newspaper descibes the track as "I Love You Goodbye is the kind of pert track any self-respecting modern girl band would choose to exhibit attitude."
