This weekend Kasim Sulton played as part of The Rockers In Recovery All Star Band as this festival which was for people in recovery or supporters of the recovery movement. It was held at CB Smith Park 900 N Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33028, (20 Minutes From Fort Lauderdale Airport). The entire festival was closed to the public.
A website about the event reported that on the Saturday evening The Rockers In Recovery All Star Band would be playing a set from 7pm. The band consisted of Mark Stein (Vanilla Fudge), Liberty Devitto (Billy Joel), Christine Ohlman (Saturday Night Live Band), Ricky Byrd (Joan Jett and the Blackhearts), Kasim Sulton (Todd Rundgren and Blue Oyster Cult), Richie Supa (Aerosmith and Richie Sambora) and special guests David Uosikkinen (The Hooters) and Randi Fishenfeld (Bruce Springsteen and BB King).
On Sunday 4th the schedule included from 1.30pm Solo Acoustic Sets and Recovery Speakers including Kasim Sulton who is listed as a RIR Honorary Director.
