"The band flat-out blistered through the eleven songs in Boston last night."

"They have clearly worked out most of the arrangements for this material. Kasim and Jessie are both manning keyboards throughout the show. There were a few bad notes or chords from time to time and only slight transition problems."

"Kasim and Jessie are coming along nicely to fill in but Moogy's influence on this material is massive and is sorely missed. The unfortunate part in all this is that the first week of shows are where they have had to work out the kinks because of Moogy's last minute absence."

"Todd's voice last night was simply remarkable...His guitar playing virtuoso...His spirits were high, as were several members of the audience."

"They were tight..everyone was in synch and enjoying themselves. The crowd was VERY enthusiastic."

The venue (taken from the KasimInfo.com Blog that day):
Tonight sees the start of the third and final week of the Todd Rundgren's Utopia Tour as they play gigs nine to twelve.

Kasim Sulton plays the ninth gig tonight which is in Boston, MA. The venue is called the Wilbur Theatre and this will be Kasim Sulton's first visit to this venue in recent years.

Click here to view the venue website. The address of the venue is 246 Tremont St., Boston, MA 02116. The gig starts at 8pm.

Tickets (from this link) vary in price from $41.95 to $52.20. A couple of days ago there were seats available in the third row at the side of the theater.

The Wilbur Theatre was built in 1914 by the Shubert brothers who apparently named it for their friend and theatre manager A.L. Wilbur.

Apparently the theater has a policy that umbrellas are not allowed at the venue!
