(Unfortunately there were few reviews or comments posted anywhere online for this leg of the tour.)
"Great place, comfortable seats and I thought the sound was pretty good."

"Todd did not disappoint, you could hardly tell he was sick because, he was joking, laughing, running up and down the stage, doing kicks etc."

"I still worry when I see Todd do those kicks especially on Couldn't I Just Tell You and now not just Kasim is doing it but Jesse's kicking now too! It was pretty cool to watch though!"

"Kasim, Jesse, Prairie and John were just icing on the cake!"

TRConnection has a review and photos (but none of Kasim) of this gig here.

The band:
On stage with Todd, the band consisted of Kasim Sulton (bass), Jesse Gress (guitar), Prairie Prince (drums) and John Frenzik (keyboards).

The venue (taken from the KasimInfo.com Blog that day):
Tonight Kasim Sulton plays the second gig of the Fall leg of the 'Classic Todd Rundgren' Tour. The concert tonight is at the YMCA Boulton Center For The Performing Arts on Long Island, NY. The address of the venue is 37 West Main Street, Bay Shore, NY, 11706.

The gig starts at 8pm and tickets were $55 or $60 (plus charges) but this 261 seat venue has sold out.

The Regent Movie Theater originaly opened in 1929 on the site and in the 1970s it was "a porno house" before it closed in the late 1980s. Local philanthropists Frank and Karen Boulton purchased the venue and gifted it to the Great South Bay YMCA in December 1997. Construction on the two million dollar YMCA Boulton Center was completed in December 2003.

Kasim Sulton last played here on Tuesday 5th July 2011 during the Spring / Summer leg of this tour and prior to that on 19th December 2008 during the Todd Rundgren Arena Tour.

The stage at this venue is 43’8" wide by 23’4" deep and has a wood-sprung stage floor so won't be too hard on Kasim's feet!
