(Incidentially Yuzawa-machi, Niigata is 9,706 miles from Staten Island, NY and Google Maps believes that it would take 36 days and 8 hours to travel there by road including instruction #47 which is "Kayak across the Pacific Ocean!") The Fuji Rock Festival is a massive event in Japan and, although some fans expressed amazement that they are going all that way to play one (shortened) set, the festival attracts some big names. The festival this year lasts from Friday until Sunday and the acts include Artic Monkeys, Incubus and Cold Play. There are 13 stages at the festival and Todd will be playing on the Field Of Heaven stage just before Saturday's headliner Widespread Panic.
