This theater originaly opened as a silent movie theater in December 1928. However it closed in a bad state of repair in 1978 and remained closed until in 1992 the new owners started an 8 year, $8.5m renovation and restoration project. The theater is now an amazing mixture of decoration that reflects its great history but also has an opulent feel to it.
