You TOO can get your groove on with Monsignor MAC Kazzy (that famous italian/irish funk bass player) on his world tour as a Liar.

Tonight's show was, as anticipated, tighter than Milwaukee--any kinks and bugs being adressed and modified. I say again, it is a colorful show! It's fun, funky, cheesy, rocking, rolling, and a darn good time. Sometimes it's a heavy metal lounge act, then it's a soulful serenade of a TR classic. I'm not well-rehearsed in the order of new songs, but my favorites so far are Liar and Beloved Infidel. it's all coming together!

It would be cool to see the show in england and enjoy it with a different crowd of fans too

First night at HOB was a great show. Set list appeared to be the same as Milwaukee.

I did not see the show in Milw. but the reference to tightness is expected. This is a complex show with a lot of new music and lots of new toys to play with. This reminds me a bit of the brief "Wizard" tour .

The performances were excellent. Technical issues will get worked out and soon this will be an overall tribute to Todd's visions.

Kasim looked like he was having fun at the opening, but as things got a little iffy they all looked tense.

Excellent song selection, as it is a selection of more recent material. It all sounded very fresh and a little bit raw. ENJOY IT!

I'm finally coming down from the natural high I've been on since being at the concert and getting to spend some time with Kas again.

Myself, husband Don and daughter Andrea started with dinner at HOB with and FINALLY meeting Janet, her sis Debbie, Curt & Peggy, Cyndi, Rita, Terry and Jules plus a few others. (Inside the show I met up with Jeff-Weavil right away.) He's so nice and he thinks we met somewhere before - I think you're right Jeff! Thanks everyone I had a blast. It's so great to finally meet your friends on the internet who share the same passion and love of Kasims & Todd's music. They are the ones that have brought us all together in a UTOPIAN WAY.

While eating we could hear the band doing the soundchecks. I could hear what sounded to me like Bufflo Grass and ISP clearly.

Time flew by and before you know it we in. I was standing with Janet and Debbie for a while but being so short I couldn't handle the crowds and was feeling very faint and we still had an hour to go..... so I had to move to the side of the stage and we watched from there (about 3 rows back) but we connected right after the show to meet for Kasim.

The show was awesome-glitches and all. Yes they're still some problems but I'm sure as each show goes on it will get better and better.

Kasim came out dressed as a priest and yes he looks like Father Guido only cuter and he was smoking and I think had darker glasses on for some of the show and then his own. Too Funny..they all were in costume and then they changed for The Funk Review. OMG!! You have to see it!! They were all in pimp get-ups. It looked soooo cool and they had the house rocking!! I was moving and dancing and so was everyone around me. Kas's voice and his bass playing were in excellent form. His bass lines I could feel it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was so great to see Todd and Kasim on stage together again. For anybody that has seen UTOPIA you'll understand when I say when they did JOV. WOW!! At the end, Todd turned his back to face Kasim and they just had a look-a gaze at each other. They had a moment that was for them.

Well I said more than I was going to. I don't want to say too much to ruin it for others but definitely go see the show when you can.

After the show, Pebs, Debbie, myself, Don, Andrea, Paul and his friend finally got our time with Kasim. We got whisked away to a private room upstairs at HOB. He was gracious and looking great as always. We chatted and he took pics with us and signed our stubs.

Kas if you read this, it was so good to see ya once again. My only regret is that I couldn't stay for Sunday's show.
